Let’s talk essential oils – it’s trending and popular with people from all walks of life. The concentrated oils are derived from parts of plants such as flowers or seeds. The process of distillation produces the highly potent distinctive fragrances and attributes into oils. Applications of essential oils are widely ranged from therapeutic to keeping a clean home. The most common way to use oils therapeutically is aromatherapy – achieving healing effects through the smells of essential oils. Don’t know where to start? Two common oils for therapeutic purposes:

 

  • Lavender –  assists in alleviating stress and anxiety, improves sleep, eases pain and is packed with antioxidants
