Are you looking to switch up your fitness routine? The Athletic Club has the perfect thing for you: Overland Park basketball! We offer pick-up games 5 days a week!

Basketball is not only fun, it also offers a number of benefits to participants. Basketball can burn between 600 – 700 calories an hour! It is great way to improve your balance as well as coordination.Playing basketball can help build endurance over time. Participants also benefit from increased concentration.

Would you be interested in meeting some new people? Well, basketball might just be for you. Basketball is very much a social sport. Open play times at The Athletic Club allows members to play a game with new people! Basketball also teaches discipline and how to be a team player. In addition, it helps to build muscle. Your whole body is working when you play!

Another plus of basketball is it can be played with as few as two people. It can also be enjoyed year-round here because our courts are indoor! People of all ages can appreciate basketball.

Open Play times:

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays: 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

The Athletic Club has everything you need to enjoy basketball! We offer 3, full-size basketball courts and the front desk has basketballs for use. Following open play, get cleaned up in our full-service locker rooms. After that, grab some delicious food or a quick drink at our own Courtside Fresh Grill and Bar!
